Long ago I accepted that if I want the joy of having dogs in my life, I would have to accept the furry pillows and carpet, clogged air vents, and endless pet dander. I've been using the Furminator De-shedding tool for a long time and have been reasonably impressed by the results. But when I came across the shampoo, I have to admit that I was skeptical. I gave it a shot anyway, and I'm sincerely glad that I did!
The times I notice the benefits most is when I vacuum and when I bathe them. I vacuum weekly and was used to stopping at least 3 times to empty the canister of mounds of dog hair (seriously, it was ridiculous). But the last several times I've vacuumed, I can do the whole house without stopping and the canister is barely half full. And for pet owners who bathe their dogs inside know the horror of cleaning the dog hair out of the tub and drain afterward, but since using this shampoo regularly I barely notice any hair in the bathtub at all!
I've been using this product for about six weeks, and have just started really noticing the results, so it takes several weeks of consistent use for the product to really take effect. I would recommend bathing every week or every other week for best results. I love the scent, and the dogs smell great for days. I start to notice their "dog" smell again after about a week or so. I plan on buying this product as long as they sell it and I would definitely recommend it to anyone with dogs!

This shampoo definitely works to help deshed any animal...It smells great and leaves the coat silky smooth! One think I will say is definitely make sure you have a furminator, a zoom groom and an animal comb...the hair will seriously just pour off of your animal! I use a zoom groom mostly every day anyway and wow...INSANE amounts of hair poured off of my dog (and your animal will love you for the extra attention)!

I have a white border / aussie with an incredibly thick coat and who has always been a major league shedder. When he was last being groomed and going through a "de-shedding", I asked how they reduced the shedding and they said they had a shampoo product that released the undercoat. Next year, I thought I could just try that myself and since I have used a furminator comb on him for several years, thought I'd try this product and their follow-up conditioner. Awesome. I bathed him one week, and followed the directions to leave the shampoo and conditioner on for awhile, while I just rubbed him up and loved on him. That, plus a blow dry and all the extra fur just went off in the rinse water and got blown away by the dryer, and he looked better than ever before. Followed it up 2 weeks later with another (unneeded) shampoo and conditioner, and his coat thinned out perfectly, and much, much less shedding for 3 months since. I'm totally hooked.
