I received this yesterday and prepared the entire area where my three babies live before I administered it. This product came with a syringe and a measure cup incase you want to use it with a liquid and squirt it down their throat instead of in their food but I chose to go the food route for my babies. OMG, as soon as I feed it to my three cats within 30 minutes the fleas started to fall off. Some were dead and some were doing a spin around their head move as they were dieing.
My babies have not had this wonderful of a sleep since the infestation began about two or three weeks ago.
Seriously, purchase this but before you use it treat the area/house else they will get infested again.
I will be purchasing this again as it is only a two month supply since I have three babies (6 capsules/3 cats).
edit: July 1, 2013 - I wanted to update this review with what is happening. The medicine works but only for about 3 weeks not 4 (I have used up the entire supply now) and my area is in an infestation (worst in years they say) for fleas and ticks and as hard as I have tried I can't get rid of them from my home. I have tried Nylar based sprays, poisons, Apple Cider Vinegar, Salt, Baking Soda, and regular white vinegar everywhere to no avail. The "pros" would have to bomb and spray but no guarantee their application would work (most neighbors say their stuff isn't cutting it either). So, I decide to get just the Nitenpyran this time and try and give it to my babies every two weeks until the cooler, and drier, weather sets in then I will purchase another pack of this to finish off the cycle (while continuing to do Nylar, salt, and vinegar on around the house).

"Charlie", a feral cat comes to my house twice a day for food and often stays for a while and visits with my inside cats through the screen door. I have not been able to touch him in more than two years he has been coming here. While a was able to put a capstar type product on his food, it obviously doesn't last and the poor little guy scratches a lot. I heard about Program for flea control but it was no longer on the market. I was so happy to find this product. With his fleas under control it lessens the chance for my inside pets to get them. I had tried to apply revolution from a short distance but he dodged it. Charlie was neutered through the TNR program in my area and while he will never be an inside cat, he still deserves as much care as I can give him.

My cats stay primarily indoors, so we have only had flea problems on a few occasions over the years. I have used Program Liquid along with CapStar in the past. Both are very expensive, but work. We got a new kitten at the end of June and he came infested with fleas. I tried Revolution because Program liquid is not currently available. It did not work. When I found this product, I was a little hesitant because it is not packaged by a mainstream lab and I was concerned with hurting my cats. After reading other reviews, and noting that ingredients come from the USA I decided to give it a try.
The ingredients come in capsule form that you give whole, or opened and mixed in food or diluted with water and given with the included syringe. I chose to mix it with canned tuna packed in oil and gave it to my three cats. This assured that the entire dose would be consumed by each finicky eater, and also took care of the instruction to serve with a fatty meal.
I have to admit, my kitties didn't go crazy after they have done when I give them CapStar, but later that day when I used a flea comb, I only found one flea...and it was dead. It has been 5 days, and they appear to be flea-free (I have not seen them scratching and there is no flea dirt in the usual places). I thoroughly vacuumed the house and furniture, mopped the floors, and laundered bedding and blankets in an attempt to pick up as many flea eggs as possible.
As many people know, you can not get rid of fleas until you break the cycle of eggs hatching. I fully expect to see more fleas show up, so we purchased two packages. I think this should be enough to take care of the problem and have some on hand in case any of my animal loving friends bring a hitchhiker over!
Update: I have given my kitties their second dose. Still no fleas, very happy!!!
